Low cloud is being driven into northern TAS, by strong northerly winds ahead of a trough, causing scattered showers. Only high cloud is pushing across the interior but this is not causing any rain yet. Skies are clearer as the northerlies dry out over the highlands.

Derwent Estuary

Variable winds 5/15 knots tending north to northeast overnight then increasing to 10/20 knots for a period around the middle of the day. Winds tending north to northwest tomorrow evening at 5/15 knots.

Hobart Waters

For southeast coastal waters. Variable winds 5/15 knots tending north to northeast at 10/20 knots overnight, possibly reaching 25 knots at times over open waters. Winds tending north to northwest tomorrow evening at 10/15 knots.
